Mountain Forum provides access to a range of resources and services through the regional nodes across the world and its secretariat in Kathmandu, Nepal.

All the resources and services are provided free of cost to all users. These resources and services form the core of Mountain Forum and aim to provide communication tools and platforms for an effective exchange of information, knowledge, ideas and experiences throughout the world, at local, regional and global levels.

By providing access to its resources and services to those who have an interest in mountains and its people around the world, Mountain Forum aims to empower mountain people, create and strengthen mechanisms for critical dialogue that affect their lives and allow members to exchange experiences from their vast knowledge base.
